Plan your transport
Delays often arise between several parties: the material is ready but receiving has not yet been released. Describe known transitions and state who can confirm an updated status. A general opening time gives less clarity than a specifically agreed readiness for the arranged handover.
Typical causes and how to prevent them
Common reasons for waiting are staggered access to the grounds, dismantling not yet finished, missing empty packaging, or a contact who is not at the stand for the handover. Many can be avoided with a confirmed time window, an on-site deputy and realistic collection readiness.
What the quotation should state
A clear quotation states how much time on site is included and how waiting beyond that is handled. Ask about this explicitly when comparing quotations; we show it in ours.
What matters
- Known dependencies between build-up, receiving and venue are described.
- A reachable contact for delays is named.
- The handling of waiting time is set out in the quotation.
