Location and handover point
Keep the actual Milan receiving point separate from any return movement. Goods, packaging and empty containers may have different recipients after use; identify those quantities before return collection.
Planning example for this task
For an exhibit at a stand, the receiving team must know whether to expect a packed item or an object ready for placement. Align the handover point with setup and identify who repacks after the event.
Separate vehicle access from the last part of the move
First document the accessible handover point. If the goods must go further into the building, add distance, doors, floor, lift and the responsible person. A city address does not imply delivery to the installation position.
What matters
- Confirm the actual goods entrance
- Record contact and handover scope for each site
- Match exhibits to package numbers
- Assign receipt and repacking to named people
- Record return quantities and destination separately
If a handover point is an event venue
Describe which goods remain in Milan and which return after the presentation. Identify sample cases, stand components and supplementary deliveries separately. Ask the recipient to confirm access and handover point.
Sources and their scope
Sources describe countries or individual locations. They do not confirm a transport service or an available date. Access and execution must be agreed for the actual job.
