Transporting rented event equipment

We collect rented furniture, technical equipment and other hire items from the rental company, deliver them to the trade fair and return them after the event. Because the collection point, return address and return deadline often differ, we plan both legs with you from the start.

Plan your transport

Rental companies often use their own references for the order and for individual containers. Link both in your transport overview. If rented items travel together with your own equipment, owner assignment remains crucial when packing up: other people’s accessories do not end up in the wrong return, and you avoid follow-up claims from the rental company.

What matters

The rental company’s collection contact and release reference are known.
Return address and agreed return deadline are recorded in writing.
It is agreed who confirms completeness to the rental company.

Good to know

Plan your transport

Is the return address the same as the collection address?

Not necessarily – the rental agreement determines that. Return point, date and contact can differ. Give us both addresses and the return deadline, and we will plan the outbound and return legs so the equipment reaches the rental company on time.

Transport solutions

Returning exhibition goods to several destinations

After a joint delivery, exhibition goods often return to different destinations: exhibits to the plant, stand construction to storage, rented items to the rental company. We organise such split returns, provided each package is assigned to a return destination and each address has a contact and receiving time.

Rechecking the return shipment after an event

After the fair and dismantling, the shipment rarely matches its original state. Record repacked units, changed contents and missing packaging parts before you confirm the return – then we plan the return journey to fit the actual load.

Adjusting transport when event dates change

If a fair is postponed, this usually affects outbound and return transport at the same time. Tell us both new time ranges and the changed collection readiness; we reconcile the existing plan and confirm the new dates to you.
