Plan your transport

Empty crates and protective parts should keep their link to the goods after unpacking. A numbered repacking plan helps you avoid mixing custom inserts with similar packaging from other exhibitors. Before dismantling, check that all required parts are back – missing packaging changes the return transport.

Where do empties go during the fair?

There is rarely space on the stand. At many venues, on-site logistics offers empty-packaging storage, booked via the organiser. Alternatively, the empties can go back with the vehicle and return for dismantling. We discuss which option suits you; storage by us is only part of the job if explicitly agreed.

Keep the link to the goods

Label empty crates with the same number as the goods that go inside. Packing at dismantling is then quick, and every exhibit goes back into its own packaging.

What matters

  • It is agreed who stores the empty packaging, and where.
  • The return of empties to the stand is scheduled before packing begins.
  • Each empty crate carries the number of the goods that belong in it.
