A loading dock may appear in a photo and still be occupied on the day. Ask the site to confirm availability and responsibility. If you need help with unloading, state it as a separate point; general site facilities do not imply confirmed suitability or an automatically booked service.
Which vehicle fits?
Without a dock, you often need a vehicle with a tail lift or handling equipment on site. Heavy exhibits or long components may require additional equipment. Give us the weight and dimensions of the largest packages and the situation on site, and we will propose a suitable solution and show it in the quotation.
Who operates forklifts and pallet trucks?
At exhibition centres, handling equipment may often only be operated by specific providers. Check the exhibitor documents to see whether forklift work must be ordered. We plan the handover to fit this rule.
What matters
- It is known whether there is a dock, ground-level area or loading platform.
- Availability of forklift or pallet truck on the date is confirmed.
- It is clear who may operate this handling equipment.
