Location and handover point

For collection in Germany, the dispatch contact needs the complete packing list and a confirmed readiness date. For delivery in France, record municipality, postcode, goods entrance and receiving contact. Assign each part of the shipment to its recipient; mark any required sequence as a condition to assess.

Planning example for this task

Set a return list alongside the outbound list. A used sample, an empty crate and a returning exhibit are different items; the end of dismantling may differ from collection readiness.

Match the gate, handover and responsibilities

Have sender and recipient confirm the same scope: point on site, available handling equipment, responsible person and time window. Missing unloading support remains an open task even when the street address is known.

What matters

  • Confirm the actual goods entrance
  • Record contact and handover scope for each site
  • Match exhibits to package numbers
  • Assign receipt and repacking to named people
  • Record return quantities and destination separately

If a handover point is an event venue

Start with postcodes at both ends and allocate packages to each delivery point. For French exhibition destinations, ask the exhibitor to confirm the actual goods entrance. Give any return movement a separate readiness date rather than deriving it from the event's closing time.

Sources and their scope

Sources describe countries or individual locations. They do not confirm a transport service or an available date. Access and execution must be agreed for the actual job.

Viparis lists several venues; an event name alone does not identify the goods entrance.
