Location and handover point
Hamad Port and Hamad International Airport are separate transport locations. Use the complete location name in the enquiry rather than just “Hamad” or “Doha”. Explain whether the goods will be collected on arrival or carried onward to the consignee. Package dimensions, urgency and receiving requirements help assess an appropriate transport mode; the available connection and any requested onward stages can then be defined for the quotation.
Planning example for this task
Assign exhibits and stand material to the actual place of use. Mark in one list what stays and what returns; this creates a separate quantity basis for both directions.
Where does the requested leg end?
Separate a possible terminal point from the final address. For each handover, identify who releases and receives the goods and who arranges the next move. A port name alone does not define a transport route.
What matters
- Write Hamad Port or Hamad International Airport in full.
- Identify the final receiver, address and agreed collection point.
- Provide external dimensions, weights and the requested receiving date.
- Match exhibits to package numbers
- Assign receipt and repacking to named people
- Record return quantities and destination separately
Sources and their scope
Sources describe countries or individual locations. They do not confirm a transport service or an available date. Access and execution must be agreed for the actual job.
